All Ages Summer Reading Program 2017
Family Reading Challenge
The family Reading Club is a fun way to come together as a community, to pay it forward to others, and to demonstrate a concrete way to “Build a Better World”. When we reach our community goal, we will be purchasing a goat and two chickens for a needy family! (Compliments of our Friends of the Library)
To take part, just go to your local Clearwater Public Library branch and report shared or buddy reading at the same time that that you report your daily reading. Each time shared reading is reported, you can place a sticker on the Build a Better World Board.
Kids Summer Reading
Keep track of each day that you read at least 10 minutes. When you visit the library, report your reading to youth services. Each day that you report your reading, you receive a token for a prize in our gumball prize machine.
On the days that you report your reading, you can also fill out a raffle ticket for a gift basket full of fun and fabulous prizes! Gift baskets will be raffled off at the end of the summer. Visit the library for a reading log or print one out.
To make your summer even more fun, there will be entertainers, camps, and special events at your local library. Check out our calendar for details..
