Meeting and Study Room Policy

The Clearwater Public Library System maintains meeting and study room facilities to further the library's mission by facilitating the exchange of diverse information and ideas.

Seed Library Policy and Procedures

The Clearwater Public Library System offers patrons the opportunity to check out seeds from the Seed Library at the Countryside Branch in an effort to expand access to homegrown food, encourage plant biodiversity in Clearwater’s local communities, and to support the city of Clearwater’s sustainability mission.

PPLC membership

The Clearwater Public Library System (CPLS) is a member of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) and abides by the PPLC Circulation Policy, including loan periods, overdue fines, and library card eligibility.

Reserves

Reserves may be placed by calling the library at (727) 562-4970, in-person at any Clearwater Public Library System location, or via the Online Library Catalog with your valid library card number and PIN. Patrons must have their library card number to place reserves and are limited to 25 requests on their account at one time.

Renewals

Most material may be renewed up to three (3) times, if there are no requests for the item. Detailed borrowing policies can be viewed here.
