Friends of the Clearwater Library is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose purpose is to promote, preserve, enhance and support the Clearwater Public Library System for the benefit of the Clearwater community.

Friends of the Clearwater Library raises money for our library system through the bookstores in each of the five Clearwater libraries. Visit the bookstore in whatever Clearwater library you visit. The books are affordable.

Friends of the Clearwater Library bookstores always need donations of materials for resale in the stores. Support your library system.

The libraries accept donations on behalf of the Friends of the Clearwater Library during open hours only. Please do not leave donations outside the libraries or in the book returns. The library accepts donations of books, CDs, VHS tapes, and DVDs in good conditions. A Quit Claim receipt will be issued upon request. The library will refuse materials that are outdated, in poor condition, dirty, buggy, moldy, etc. Large donations cannot be received at the East Community Library, the North Greenwood Library, the Beach Library, or the Countryside Library. If patrons wish to donate a large number of items or items other than those listed above, please contact the Friends of the Clearwater Library at ritagarvey3@gmail.com.
