The Clearwater Main Library will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 22 due to high school graduations at the BayCare Sound. All other Clearwater libraries will maintain regular hours. The Main Library will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 26. Patrons may renew items by calling (727) 286-6894 or by logging into their accounts on this site.
The Pop-Up Beach Library has moved from the Pool Office to the library space in the Beach Recreation Center, located at 69 Bay Esplanade. Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-2 p.m. and Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m.Pick up your holds, browse a selection of popular books and movies for checkout, purchase a used book, or just say "hi" to the Beach Library team!
The Clearwater Public Library System maintains meeting and study room facilities to further the library's mission by facilitating the exchange of diverse information and ideas. The primary purpose of meeting rooms is for library activities, including programs presented by library staff, the city of Clearwater, the Friends of the Clearwater Library, the Clearwater Library Foundation and other organizations affiliated with the library or city. When not in use by the library or one of its partners, designated library meeting rooms are available to individuals, community groups, government groups, and registered non-profit organizations.
